Gratitude and giving back

Gratitude and giving back

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve posted anything on here and I do thoroughly apologize for that. If you remember I mentioned being ill in one of my posts. Well, guess what the illness did not end there. After that, I had the worst ever flu of my life. No, it wasn’t corona. but my God! I was not even able to get out of bed, I could barely get out one sentence without coughing my lungs out. Sorry for the cringe statement. But it’s true. Either way, I am getting better. This experience of being ill for so long made me realize the importance of gratitude and giving back.

That is why when I was finally able to record another one of my podcasts, I choose to talk about gratitude. Yes, I spoke about my illness and mental health issues for a good part of it. But I believe the preamble leads to some good content.

Mental health issues and tranquility Life Inside The Box

Talking about how my mental health journey went and how I learned to find tranquility.

Gratitude and giving back:

Gratitude and giving back are not given the right importance that it deserves in our lives. We rarely look around and consider the things we should be grateful for. Instead, we spend most of our lives looking up to people and envying how much have. I am someone who doesn’t just consider money as an important asset in life. Yes, it helps you live with ease and makes life more enjoyable but there are other things that I value more. such as our biggest asset ever is time. And, in my opinion, our knowledge and words are also one of the most unique assets we have.

Giving back:

Sometimes we can back to the people who need help such as donating to charities or other people who are in need of money. However, I believe that if we share our knowledge, words, and time with someone that is also a great way to give back to people. Sometimes people do not need your money they need someone who can listen and be supportive. To be that person for someone is the biggest and the best achievement of my life.

So let’s bring about a change and give back to people whatever we can change the currency from money to time and knowledge. Doing good never goes rejected and once you start to give back all that will come back to you.

I can totally relate to being sick and just lying helplessly in bed, and that’s one of the worst feelings ever, for sure. Glad that you’ve still managed to record this podcast though, which will be a good accompaniment to my daily tasks!
